The Southern Cheesemakers' Guild

Find A Cheesemaker

Bonnie Blue Farm was founded in 2006 by former Californians, Jim and Gayle Tanner on their beautiful 300-acre farm in rural Wayne County, TN. After decades of goat ownership and many years making cheese as a hobby, the couple decided to turn their passion for farm life into producing handmade, farmstead cheeses from the milk of their naturally and humanely raised Saanen and Nubian dairy goats. The freshest milk from their herd is transformed into nationally award winning fresh, bloomy rind, and aged goat cheeses. Farm tours of the cheese aging cave, goat housing, milking parlor, along with cheese tasting are available by appointment. Also on farm is a log cabin for guests that wish to share and learn about goat care and management or enjoy the natural beauty of the farm.
