The Southern Cheesemakers' Guild

Dayspring Dairy is a small family owned and operated dairy farm and creamery. We are the first licensed sheep dairy and producer of farmstead sheep milk cheeses in Alabama.   We are located in a beautiful valley in the piedmont of north-east Alabama on 30 acres of lush rolling pastures. All of our cheeses are made from milk from our flock of eighty contented dairy sheep, which are shepherded by Greg Kelly.  We affectionately call them “our girls” and they are at the heart of our farmstead cheesemaking operation.  Ana Kelly is the head cheesemaker and culinary mastermind.  Our goal is to produce unique, delicious, safe, and healthy cheeses for our customers.
